“Da Rippas lose a tight game. Fungus the Loon was the star of first half, knocking over Larvae players left and right. Unfortunately, he also wandered into the crowd, causing a turnover after we had stolen the ball (and so I learn not to point him so that he can go into the crowd). Because of that, the Larvae recovered and scored 0-1 in T8. Not good.
Da Rippas scored 1-1 early (T5) in the second half to try and win the game instead of stalling for a tie. We got perfect defense on our kick-off, but as usual that made the defense worse, as the Larvae ST4 blitzer broke through with the ball. We chased him and got two times 2d on him but failed to knock him down, so he dodged in 1-2 in T6. With two turns left, da Rippas set up for a quick score, but it was not to be.

I got some luck when I really needed it and managed to scrape out a win. After my agi 4 lineman fumbled the ball while standing right next to Fungus, I thought the game had slipped away early. But I kept fighting for the ball and managed a pass and score on turn 8.
Much respect to MadTias for going for the win and scoring on turn 4 (or was it 5)? On the next kickoff I was pleased to learn that I am not the only Coach to mess up my defense when I get 'Perfect' Defense.
