The humans received the kick off and put a few beast men down but failed to pick-up the ball leaving their backfield vulnerable.

A few beast men advanced into the humans half and put some pressure on the ball while the rest occupied the humans on the LOS. A tug of war ensued over the ball with Nurgle the eventual winner. The first half ended 1 - 0 Nurgle.

The second half saw Nurgle cage in their own half but some bad blocking by the LOS and some good pressure by the humans saw the cage surrounded. A desperate screen of blocks and a risky throw got the ball at least away from danger. Then two beast men managed to shepherd the ball to a second touchdown though it was always in doubt.

The humans did manage a nice consolation td at the death with Jim Simonds catching the pass while standing in the end zone.

A close game which I'm glad to have won. A draw would have been a fair result.
