The Blitz won the toss and came up with 3 casualties in the first turn, enabling them to roll the clock down until turn 8.
With both side having players with MA13 though, an OTT is always on the cards - and Hopping Rat found the line equalising before the break.
With the kick, GBF had a second quick snap in as many turns, but a failed hand off saw a blitzing Blitz blitzer grab the ball and take a screened walk down the pitch for the winner. With only a few players on the pitch, GBF were unable to put much pressure on the Blackwater boys.
