This was not a game. It was a one sided drop your pants bend over and get the biggest @ss f*cking of your life one sided sh*tfest.
Apologies, first of all - I try my hardest to keep my language civil in these reports I do, but this really was one sided awful rubbish of the highest calibre, and I suppose, entertaining because of it :D
For a lot of the game I couldn't score a pow.
For most of the game Av6 was unbreakable.
For most of the game the Trees were mobile.
It wasn't until turn 8 of the 2nd half when the halflings even needed to use one of their 6 rerolls!
I had 5-6 players out for most of the game (5 on field at end) whereas the flings suffered a ko or two, one Si from a failed (block/pow) block and I scored a late meaningless SI.
I scored through Rasmusson failing blocks in the first half , not through any success of my own. You can only throw so many -2 dice blocks before I get to choose a skull and drop a fling, but even then there were no real injuries going on, only KOs. I cleared more flings from surfing them. I had a 0% chance of stopping the flings scoring. I simply could not score a pow and they thinned my players out (av9 remember) without any problems leaving hardly anyone left to stop them, and the gfis, dodges, all worked. Well done for that, nice to see flings run the ball in against a supposed bashy side :)
Still, I guess it must be frustrating for Rasmusson to have the majority of the good luck all game and not win against a team that was marked for retirement before the ball was kicked, and I was disappointed that he didn't kill more of my useless crappy players off before then.
This game continues my run of awfulness. Off the top of my head (have to check) I have outdiced my opponent twice, got equal luck in 2-3 games and been completely outdiced 5-6 out of the last 10-11 games or so - can't really be arsed to check but it's pretty bad. I normally take each game as it comes but I seem to be getting screwed every 2nd game at the moment. This team has been screwed for 3 games and is retired now. (8 players next game, no skills).
Still, at least by the end of the game my luck had clawed its way up from the low 40s and the opponents dropped from the 70s where it had been for most of the game.
Most disappointing was seeing no throw team mate attempt. With these dice in this mood it was a sure fire 100% success nailed on to work.
Best of luck with the team Rasmusson! Apologies for my in game language - not directed at you in any way, only at the one sided cackfest that was going on which made it a bit pointless for me to play. Maybe should have just retired the team and not wasted my time, but I hope your guys got good skill ups and have decent luck in the future :D”
