“After a dismal performance, by the Cold Stone Cold Beers, in thier opening match for the Wastelands Superleague, Asperon Thorn was asked to comment.
"What can I say, this game was full of Should Not's, Could Not's, and Did Not's." Asperon Thorn continued by saying. "It was a learning experience for a fresh team. The team has now been instructed with many Will Not's, Can Not's, and Do Not's, for the future."
Some of the play decision's were put to the question, such as thier insistance in attacking the Sleaze's rat ogre, and Asperon Thorn answered by saying, "Chuck Roast held up much better than we anticipated, showing that he is definately a player that will demand respect. We had thought to use his undisciplined playing style against him, but he proved very crafty. In fact the foul put on Weidermans caused our own team to show less discipline than him, resulting in 2 players gettting ejected from our team."
He further commented that the one sided ref, may want to be careful where and when he sleeps.
Currently the Cold Beers are being hung by thier ankles in a disciplinary exercise. Asperon Thorn said that as soon as they were let down there would be several extra practice sessions during the week.
"The big game is next week, though. The Cold Beers are representing the Inland North, in the week's cross conferance match-up, and after Skinksmorgasbord lost for the North last week, it is up to us to show that the North is, by far, the more dominate Inland Conferance." Asperon said at the end of the interview.
The Cold Beers next opponent is 'Hammer to Fall' which is also down to 10 players.”
