Wasn't a lot of fun for me - lately I've been on end of some right screwings, and whilst this wasn't such a one sided hiding, still I was outnumbered for the vast majority of the game thanks to av7.
The humans scored in turn 16 but I don't really remember them failing anything save a ball pickup or two. Their blocking was more or less spot on albeit with reroll use, and as you can see from the stats, I threw 38 blocks in the game. Opponent threw 60. That's av7 for you. Most of the time you are picking players up and waiting till they're unstunned. KOs don't come back etc etc blah blah. A lot of my blocks were 1 dice - I had no choice - the Ogre was ever present with guard and I was outnumbered from turn 2 by anywhere from 2-4 players.
Well played Sinistrad - as I mentioned, I was on the back foot from turn 1, held off your td for as long as I could but with 7 vs 10 lined up for the 2nd half I didn't have any kind of strategy in mind. Once my team was surrounded and the blocks started raining in, it was only a matter of time. That and the 7+ pickup made by the ogre, and his non bone head all game (I think I saw him bone head once but not sure?) plus the handoff and gfi sealed the win. My attempt at the end to defy probability and get a -2 dice block on you was doomed to failure. Gotta try anyway.
Good winnings for both teams, +FF and no players missing but truth told, I really can't be f*cking bothered with Av7 teams any more. It's like saying "I like playing with half a team for most of the game"
Best o luck with em - you were good value for the win today and I didn't play well enough or have the players to make any serious attempt at a score.”
