“Pretty pathetic game overall. Four of my turns ended on the first block I made. I think at least 3 others ended on skull/pow blocks that knocked my own guys over. I had 3 turns to make an answering drive after he went up 1-0 in the first half: none of my 3 KO guys come back and all 3 of his KO guys do, there's a pitch invasion that heavily favors me for a walk-in TD, but I double skull blocks 2 turns in a row and he recovers to stop me.
Second half was more of the same. He crowds his guys up next to mine and I end my turn on the first block. I can't finish up a 2db, but he doesn't pay for any of his 1dbs or even the frenzy -2db he gives up when I have him pinned at the sideline...no, he POWs his way free instead.
The final luck doesn't do justice to the game. My luck was just fine when doing anything unimportant, and I had whole turns that went perfectly fine. It's just that I only got to play 12 turns to my opponent's 16, and that was just too much to overcome.”
