“Bitter? For the record i conceded early due to 2 kills and 2 si and some kos not a few players of the pitch as windexchugger seems to be suggesting. The two situations are completly different and the comparison is made simply to insult me.
You made plenty of mistakes yourself mate for wich i made you pay dearly. May i point out that after our first game i belived you not only to be a good player but a nice bloke it turns out that was a mistake. I wont bother to check i will presume your right however none of this makes any diffrence to the fact that i would not have conceded if they had been kos. If you cant take a beating now and then for what ever reasons luck or skill you should not play mate. it just isnt that important so GET OVER IT!”
“Last time I played drunkagent he CONCEDED after I got a few of his players off the pitch. This time, I start off with 10 players vs his 14. He's got +15 TS and I don't get any handi's. My star krox is MNG, so I'm already missing a key Str player. Opening turn, he KO's 3 sauri. I've got 4 skinks and 3 sauri left on the pitch vs his 11.
*You will note, drunkagent, that even though things were looking rough, I didn't concede.*
Luckily, I was playing against drunkagent, who made a few mistakes. I had a shot at the ball, even got it loose, but with my -13% luck AND -4 players I failed pickup, was quickly swarmed, and the humans scored.
I easily scored on my drive. Made it a quick score, hoping to capitalize on another one of drunkagents free ball blitzes and maybe win this game...
His drive; bad kick, he gets the ball caged first turn. arg. I keep him pinned down at the LOS, hoping for him to fail a roll...ONCE...which he didn't. On T14 I made my move, and got two TZ's on the AGI3 ball carrier. Unfortunately, my diving tackle skink KO'd himself earlier on a dodge. Maybe drunkagent will fail this critical dodge? He dodges out easy, and gets within reach of the endzone. T15. He makes another error, and gives me a 3DIE BLOCK on the ball carrier, but even with a reroll ready to be used, I can't bring down his blodger. Still, two TZ's on the ball.
This time he fails the dodge, but with drunkagent's luck, the ball bounces onto the only nearby human, and he catches it. It's T16 and too late for me to win. Still, I can go for the tie. I two die block (this time there's just block, no dodge on the BC) to no avail. I bring in my agi4 skink to get a 2die...and he snakes on a dodge. Drunkagents decides NOT to block the two sauri away (even though both would have been 2dies) instead he blitzes one away, and dodges, GFI...win.
I'm sorry for being so sore drunkagent; I like the randomness of Bloodbowl, but the last...many games have been either rape or be raped (and it feels like there's more 'been raped' than 'raped' lately.) I wish I could get a game with even dice, so i can feel as though I deserved the win/loss.
Edit: Don't want to get into a flame war, but: In the game we both mentioned I had dealt THREE cas to you (and also no KOs) and you had one on me. If the replay is right (and I should think it is) then it was a 11 vs 12 against you. Like I had in this game, you had pretty much lost the drive.
I realize that 3 KOs is nothing compared to 3 cas, but the point I was trying to make was just in our game, not any lasting injury to the teams.
In our earlier game, you had 8 vs my 10 for the drive and 11 vs 12 the whole match and you conceded. I had 7 vs your 11 for the drive and 10 vs 14 for the whole match (assuming all my KO's woke up) and I stuck it out.”
