The team really couldn't do anything right this game. For me this really sunk home when I realised they earned not one spp the whole game.

No completions: Not for lack of trying. Milli dropped a sitter in the first half, and Mike failed in a desperate T16 attempt to regain some dignity. Of course I realise as I write this that he was passing to a no-hands player anyway...

No casualties: Not for lack of trying. The real killer here was sidestep. Thanks to the buzzing handicap, I had three frenzy players (including the only tackler), and as a result I couldn't find a safe bock anywhere.

No intercepts: One failed attempt. You never really expect to get these though.

No tds: Yes indeed. A particularly bad effort from Mike this game, almost a full set of failures. After a failed catch from Milli left us in a bit of trouble, Mike's failed gfi late in the first half changed a reasonable shot at 1-0 into 0-1. A failed dodge in the second half was for 0-3. A failed pickup followed by a failed pass left us with no chance at regaining some dignity.

I did make some silly mistakes - forgetting about no hands on buzzing (there's no reminder anywhere, even when you first assign it, why can't it appear on the skill list like everything else?) and letting Mike get marked by diving tackle (which technically made no difference - he made that dodge anyway then failed the easy one). On the whole though it was sidestep vs too much frenzy, dodge vs a known lack of tackle and Ag 4 vs Ag 3 that lead to increasingly desperate plays which consistently failed.

Hopefully the team can pick themselves up, survive the next two games and claw their way out of relegation to take a better shot at it next season.

Twanhlows:
3 Today Tonight III - Two tds in his debut game, watch out for this one.
2 Paris Hilton III - The dirty hoebag and her diving tackle was always somewhere I didn't want her.
1 How I met your Mother - Even though he wasn't on for long, and it was a mess of his own making from a failed pickup, he stood up to Steve when it counted and that was pretty much the moment the game was lost for us.

Irgy got done over here by some snake eyes and bad luck.

We were lucky enough to capitalise well when Irgy’s luck went bad, allowing TDs and important defensive plays. Irgy lucked out when we had our bad fortune and we were able to regroup before things turned ugly.

A lot of this game involved trying to control key players. For us, it was all about tagging Cameron and Mike, while trying to avoid Steve, Rob and the buzzing Julian as much as possible. For Irgy, it was Paris and Brit that were the nightmares, along with my tacklers.

Anyway, we got hit a fair bit but our armour held, thankfully, and we both go through to the next round relatively unscathed, except for Ned who takes a break. Sure he’ll miss facing WDR.

Irgy did well, moving his surprising agile Flesh Golems around and hitting where he could. However, we got the ref in the second half. Irgy wisely backed off with the fouling and we didn’t go gung ho as we wanted Irgy in fine shape for his next game :P

Thanks for the game mate, best of luck and kill some chaos!!
