“If ever a draw could be classed as epic this was it sports-fans. A knock-down drag-out slugfest in which the smallest man on the pitch eventually rose triumphantly to secure the draw with an amazing one turn touchdown.
The Stinkface boys received the kick in the first half and after a touchback placed the ball in the gnarled hands of Black Orc Nostril-Bones, the Orcs preceded to cage up and look to grind the Boots boys and girls down. However, some dogged defending saw the vamps able to slowly break open the cage. But at the crucial moment a miscalculation on the assist count saw the Vamps throw a 1db block when trying to pop the ball loose, burn a re-roll, and end upwith double skulls. The way was now clear for the TD and the Orcs raced upfield. But lady luck came to the Boots' rescue as a lone defender in the backfield dodged away from his troll marker and knock the ball-carrier over, scattering the ball into the crowd. The Vamps secured the ball and even went for an outrageous length of the field play in the final moments to try and go 1 - 0 up, but their skills were lacking.
Second half saw the the Boots received and after a swift foul on the LOS to put an Orc blitzer out of play they had the numbers they needed in the second half to slowly move upfield. The Poltroons made them work hard for it however, with the gobbo Bubble Knees proving particularly troublesome as he side-stepped and dodged his way out of multiple 3db unharmed. However, they Vamps were able to hold off and Lucretia De'jesus ran in for the score, thinking the Orcs would have no way to reply.
Cometh the hour, cometh the gobbo. Bubble Knees was not to be denied. IN the last second of the match he took to the air like a screaming bogey flicked from the nose of Ugly Bug-Face. The dauntless gobbo executed a perfect landing and then dodged his way through the Boots' line of defence on their own endzone to run in for the score and save the match.
Dissapointed Boots fans left the game in droves at the final whilste, many saying they will never come back after such massive heartbreak, while the Poltroons fans stayed long after the final whistle, cheering their team like they had just won the Fumbbl cup.”
