“Although this match was dogged by technical problems throughout, an end was eventually reached... although the Mordor FC team came out of it rather bruised and battered.
The Wotfud Boyz coach had equipped the backroom staff with smelling salts and had scared the referee into making him watch the Mordor side very closely indeed. With only 11 players to field in the first place, the Mordor side were always going to be struggling against the Boyz side who were meant to be lesser ranked.
Flex Mussullz and Durr Wot thumped many a Mordor orc as if they had some sort of point to prove, while Rocky Shinsmasha was as reliable as ever... but it was Goin Nutz that earned an MVP perhaps for a stylish TD.
At one point when the Boyz were 0-1 down, but just about to score, the stadium lights went out yet again, and when the Mordor coach could eventually be found, he offered to concede, but the Boyz coach gambled and was happy to continue... and quickly made it 1-1, then 2-1 as fewer Mordor orcs were left standing on the field.
A good helping of sympathy should be given to coach samuelson, who was a very nice and honest coach, who didn't deserve the pounding that his team got. They played well, but numbers counted at the end!”
