“Challenge from: Opponent

Basically a mirror match, save for a Kroxi with guard on the Tails n Nails side and 3 rerolls on mine, otherwise identical. (mine, no skills. Difference in team strength must be down to my 3 useless rerolls vs other teams 1?)

Well, save the fact that my guys literally failed at just about everything to do with handling the ball. Instead of handing off, fail, reroll, fail, to score, it was a long drawn out process of trying to get the ball downfield and give it to a spare receiver. Over and over and over again.

Coupled with being 1 dice powed for the majority of the game, fouled, including meaningless turn 16 (thankfully no injuries) and a problem with the game report at the end leaving me wondering what the winnings, skills, FF change was... and still not enough cash for an apothecary :(

Just glad I scraped the win - my opponent more or less forgot about the ball save for another of my failed ball handle that left him to pick it up and run free, 1 turn from scoring. Luckily a 3 dice block actually resulted in a pow and I freed the ball up to set in motion another pile of failed ball handling messes.

Finally scraped it home in turn 16, then got a foul for good luck at the end.

Not a lot of fun, not an easy win - the dice saw to that. Not a great result. Just needed 10k more.
