Don't know why I bother with elves. Maybe it's because I imagine there to be some kind of beautiful throwing dodging dancing gfi scoring at free will potential lurking somewhere in the javabowl client.

Well, if it is, the first half of this match, for me, was a fountain of pure sh*t descending form the heavens to cascade upon all I tried. It started with the interception in 2 tackle zones (7 reqd, 6 rolled) and got worse from there. Turns 2-7 were disastrous, appalling, terrible, one sided and just awful to sit through. By turn 4 I was contemplating concession, I'd had enough. That's not something I will do these days, but this one, with 3 badly hurt players, an interception, score against, and diabolical run of failing crap dice (15-20% down vs opponent) meant I expected some kind of record score. I'd have no players left on the field, and the Elves would simply long bomb their way to victory just for laughs.

Of course, it didn't quite turn out that way, but it made for fairly depressing playing all game. I scraped a score late in the first half, then all through the second both teams had a horrible run of utter garbage dice that dropped Lost in the trees luck to the level you see, and saw mine claw its way up from the 40s to the heady heights of 52%

It took a "I really don't care any more just try anything at least it will be a fast turn when it fails" move to break the awful fumbling incompetence both sides were putting on display. A dodge, a blitz, a block, a pickup then dodge from a tackle zone, and a quick pass to score, all in the same turn and too late for the Elves to score.

jwright played well, didn't deserve to lose, and I didn't deserve to win. It was just one of those games where you want it over and done with.

On this showing mummies and saurii would be better at dodging, passing, picking the ball up and catching it.

Best of luck with the team jwright. Thinking of retiring mine just so I don't have to grind my way through that dross again with elves. At least the company was good, and sympathetic. The win isn't important to me. Having fun is, and this was just painful, at first for me and then for both teams.
