Game started in icy conditions with Battletech with the ball. With ball handling being challenging and pressue being applied by the Raiders and Corsairs, we scored on T6 instead of stalling longer in case we got no score at all.

The Corsairs and Raiders with 3 turns left were able to score the equaliser before half time after our aggressive defence was punished with a Quick Snap (I think).

Second half with reduced numbers on the Corsairs was still a 1-1 half for a hard fought draw.

Addendum - it was 11 on 11 bram, as you can see by the number of listed players above. I had more MB and a DP, but you had better players as per your +10 TS :)

2nd Addendum - Players who get hurt before doing anything, or do nothing the whole game don't get listed. So it is possible to have more players than in the tables above. Stars and Freebooters aren't listed either.

I only remember the general lines of the game...

11 Raiders & Corsairs took up a challenge by Battletech 3025. Maybe not very clever, because the opposition had an extra player, 3 guys with mighty blow and a dirty player (vs 0 mighty blow and no dirty player on the Raiders & Corsairs side). However, it still sounded like it would be an interesting game and this it was.

Putting pressure on the ball resulted in a T6 Battletech score, leaving considerable time for the equalizer before half time (don't remember the way I scored though). Some casualties and ko's started to demand their toll and upon receiving in the second half the Raiders had to make some opportunistic 1d blocks in order to go for the touchdown (stalling longer might eventually have resulted in loosing the ball). With Nuffle on our side the 1d blocks worked wonders (pow on a blodger amongst others, although a push would have done the job as well?) and the agility 5 blitzer finished the job. 2-1.

With quite some turns left, Battletech 3025 used superior numbers to secure the score. 2-2, a fan factor increase and no permanent damage, could have been way worse.
