“The Working Class Heroes have done it again. In a game that had all the qualities of a good Peasant Cup match, WCH proved themselves worthy as defending champions.
This semi-final wasnt exactly well-played but it was played with a lot of heart and determination from both teams. In particular first half was very gritty (Wuhan would have been proud of both teams) and the game was influenced by the lack of available players as the match progressed.
Louis Pio, an addition to the team comparred to last season, scored once and he seems very determined to play an import part in the upcomming final. Rosa Luxemburg scored the deciding goal in turn 6.
That left the Bloodmoon Squad with a final drive for the equaliser, but as the pass sailed just wide of the intended target, the fans went wild as game came to an end.
Bloodmoon Squad deserved the win or at least a draw but perhaps they lacked the final luck or heart. Coach Flix deserves great credit and he played well - very well. Good Game”
