“Man, the carnage! This was a good spirited game, sort of like a splatter B-movie. Sloppy tactics by Yours Truly resulted in crowd pushes and the game's only foul (i think...) hit home like a missile. Also, my fairy toss straight into the end zone gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Fortunately I got enough cash to get some new lil' brownies for the trees to play with.
Perhaps the strangest thing of the game was the perversely bizarre dug out composition of the Chaos worshippers. Only the Minos seemed to get hurt, until very late in the game...

The luck was far more one-sided than the figures show--especially in the first half when brownies and pixies were dropping like canaries in a coal mine. Funny thing was, I never really got a chance to get the old saws going.
The crowd, definately did their part though after seriously injuring one, they got the scent of blood and killed the next.
At the start of the first half one of the Monsanto Research trees pointed at Oprah and drew a line across his throat. He made good on his promise to take the billionaire owner of Harpo productions out of the game. But it was too little too late.
Quote of the game came late in the 2nd half when borderline said "I seem to be running out of fairies." Immediately after I took out a brownie (didn't want them to feel left out).
Poor Allen Greenspan in turn 16, distracted by low first quarter earnings, wasn't watching where he was going and dodged himself right into the turf. The appothecary got all excited about the chance to treat a serious injury in turn 15 (thought he wasn't even going to be able to open his bag) and thus wasn't available to treat the hapless cfling.
