*snickers and laughs of misbegotten gainst*

We ran around them golems, taunted them, and then stomped on them individually when then fell. When our taunting dances failed at the end of the 1st half and we failed to score, we were sure we were in trouble for the 2nd. Our taunting dance brought us fortune and we only failed 1 dodge in the first half.

We believe that the Golems, who were in an excellent position due to their enormous strength, were scared into rushing to capitalize on their percieved opportunity to score when we stomped 'Loader' into what looked like small parts to us, I guess their fix-it man was more skilled than we had believed. But the fear of our games and tricks caused them to open up the ballcarrier to a relentless pounding, and we woulda stomped on his face too if we didnt fail at picking up the ball. In the end we had 3 fouls and a large nuffle advantage that proved too much for the lumbering Claymores to overcome.

GG Dynamix and ty for the match.

The Chem unreliability seems to have returned in this game for the Claymores , coupled with a seeming lack of ability to put the opposing Elfs down when a chance to block presented itself .
However , despite this , the Golem team somehow managed to keep the ball out of their own end zone in the first half ,helped mainly by the Elf tactic of not wanting to score too early in the half which they were very capable of doing and indeed had ample opportunity .

The Claymores were reasonably confident going into the second half .
The most agile Golem 'Thresher' picked the ball up from kick off and with strong support was heading toward the opposing end zone but malfunctions , and the confusion of Golem 'Guard' who was poised to block and inexplicably dodged instead to support the ball carrier ( its thought the Claymores coach gave 'Guard' the mistaken signal to move up in support as he could be seen giving himself a good thrashing just after this play )
This proved the crucial difference in the game , as the more agile Elfs grabbed the opportunity , swarmed the now unsupported ball carrier and with some well supported blocking ,handing off and the usual Dirty Elf fouling ( what do we expect from these scoundrels! ) Jarl Benzon sped off down the field with the Golems standing around helplessly and the game was sealed .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the luck imbalance in the previous round in the favour of the Claymores which put them through to this round of the 'Colour of Magic', the balance of luck lurched massively the other way in this game , and though it would be nice to be able to say that the dice were wholly responsible for the loss , that would be ignoring the biggest factor which was the Coach loss of concentration , a block ready , only to forget that block in an attempt to move up and support the lone ball carrier who had broken out of the cage toward the EZ .

Congrats to ryanfitz and his team
