“This game was the start of what became a trend for the Cravens getting beat up. It was also the first of two games that saw zombies handling the ball like elves. I've never seen so much passing and catching from AG 2 players as I have in the Undead Uprising tournament. Clearly, these zombies are motivated!
It was a funny game to watch, not quite as much fun for me to play through as I had 2 players get SI'd (successfully apo'd one). I was going to hang onto Mushmouth and make him a permanent fixture on the LoS, but decided to just cut bait since I could afford to replace him immeadiately. That's the one thing about human teams in this league: since we can't buy blitzers, catchers or ogres there isn't much else to spend money on. Cut those niggling/perma-injured players early and start developing new ones.”
“Loss by the Backup Dancers... but they have promise as we have now skilled up enough for a potpourri of the Necromantic flavors. Had a wight - now weez gots a wolf, frank and GOOOooooowl...
As far as the match itself, Get The Ref helped and hurt us in the 2nd half... we had a great first turn after being stalled out for a 1-0 deficit, but GTR and removing three guys in the first turn tempted us to go on pitch clearing mode... key blitz by the Cravens dislodged the ball and we were hard pressed to score after that. Still looking for that first score, but it will come >:)”
