“Playing 50/56 down, their debut match was always going to be a tough one for the Breakfast - albeit having an extra body on the field (for a short time.)

Eager to impress, the defense was perfect at kickoff, unfortunately the kick was not.. the touchback giving possession deep in the dwarf half.

2 blocks in and Kasabian Fireboots clashed heads with Hegnar, resulting in concussion for the taller of the two. Another two elves were to be stunned on the play and in retaliation Eugene (drugged up and feeling especially strong) badly hurt the ST4 dwarf powerhouse Sogan.

The Breakfast did manage to get their hands on the ball halfway through the first when the dwarves tried to switch the play with a long pass. Tripping while trying to get safe, the ball was lost and the Wanderers completed their drive with a TD, an Elf KO and Zaphod having his neck broken.

Managing to hurt another dwarf before the whistle, the teams lined up 8vs7 in favour of the Wanderers.

The Elves worked hard in the second half and made it within touching distance of the endzone before Lynyrd Tollkeeper, in an attempt to evade the reach of the MA6 Blitzer managed to trip himself up. The dwarves gathered for a late score, leaving just 4 of the Breakfast left on the pitch.

Certainley could have been worse but we'll certainley be missing the 2 injured players in the next match. 2 failed GFIs cost us badly but cant complain.
