“A brutal match for the 69ers today.
The Skaven team was better from the beginning on, but our guys did not give up fighting.
In the end it was not enough.
Unforunately the 69ers suffered from 5 casualties.
The heart of three guys stopped beating during the match.
One of them could be saved by the apothecary, but the other two not.
Unfortunately one of the less lucky guys was the star "David Schleicher".
He was the last member of the original team and gave character to the team.
Now, after his death and with so many players missing, rumours are going around about coach Urrghs retiring the team.
After the match he answered our question concerning that: "Well, I am not sure if I will ever lead those guys on a Blood Bowl pitch again."
We all were hoping during the last days that the 69ers could again develop to a great team, but now it seems that this` teams's history ends.
We will never forget this one, how much fun we had with our guys, and will always remember the great victories; in fact there was not many.
Cheers”
