It was the Deadliest Catch's first game in the BlackBox Division and they started off with a win. Not the prettiest of wins but they'll take it. The High Elves won the coin toss but chose to kick off. Too Pretty to be Ogre had a Goblin pick up the ball and ran behind his massive Ogre front lines. The High Elves made three block attempts on the ball carrier but they did nothing but shove the Goblin closer to the end zone. There was not much DC could do but watch the Goblin run in the touchdown midway through the first half.
DC received but the Ogres hit them with a Perfect Defense. The Ogres shifted their line to the High Elves strong side and soon the offense was stuck. DC was unable to get anything going and the Goblins almost scored. Luckily they were unable to pick up the ball as halftime began.
DC received once again and a failed pass by a Lineman put them in a tough position. Aravan was able to recover the ball and ran up the right side of the field with little to no help. He was taken down but thanks to an Ogre costing his team an early turnover DC was able to make a play. A Lineman chain pushed a prone Goblin out of bounds as Aravan dodged away from an Ogre. The Catcher picked the ball up and was off into the end zone with four turns left on the clock.
TPtbO received once again and the ball was kicked deep into their territory. Two times the Goblins failed to pick up the ball and the High Elves sent a couple players down to put pressure. On their second to last turn, a Goblin finally picked up the ball but then fumbled a long pass. This left the door open for DC and they would not waste it. Aravan pushed the Goblin away and Drisden dodged away to grab the ball. The Lineman ran in the touchdown to win the game as the game ended.
