“Fresh from their strange triumph over the Shaliar Sovereigns, the Lizzies were looking forward to getting to grips with a substantial opponent at last, in the form of Coach Elans Orcs...

Sadly, getting a grip was something the Lizzies failed to do in this match.
A solid start to the first half saw proud Kuau make contact with the ballcarrier in a stunning blitz that caught the F'Orkz flatfooted. They quickly rallied however, and with the aid of their star thrower, and some solid blocking, a cheeky gobbo managed to run the ball away for a relatively early TD.
With some time in the bank, but down a player, the Lizzies played safe, looking to equalise the numbers on the pitch. As the heavens opened, the Lizzies drive started well, sending a Black orc off the pitch, and making some safe moves to cover the ball... which, due to a superlative kick, and the suddenly muddy pitch, slipped free from t'OmAtls hands as he tried to pick it up.
It was the Lizzies turn to be caught flatfooted, as the F'Orkz went into overdrive. Black Orc Grugnash hurled himself forward, frothing at the mouth, and sent Totol flying, As the orc Blitzer tag team flooded through the gap, Coach Luo stood looking grim... suddenly, that ball didnt look so safe anymore.
The Lizzies, however, showed their flair, and with some fancy maneuvering, a lucky block, and a quick handoff, the ball was suddenly down the other end of the pitch, with little ohu` in possession.
Not even star thrower Makast could stop the inevitable touchdown, so the orcs got brutal, sending a further five players from the pitch

With so many injuries, the ref called for a few more turns, sending the fans into a frenzy. The Blitzer tagteam continued to make its presence felt, once again dashing into the Lizzies half and threatening the ball. With only 6 players remaining, the Lizzies were hard pressed to stop them, and Captain Tamalli prepared himself for a hard slog.
The F'Orkz showed more brutality, sending players off with seeming ease. A nasty block on skink ohu`Atl, perhaps in revenge for the equalising TD was patched up by the apothecary... who then was left unprepared when moments later, the Krox with heart, Big Scaly Love was sent from the pitch for the last time, stone dead from a withering blow by Grugnash!

The second half started, with a heavy numerical advantage to the Orcs. The Blitzers Three again dashed forward, constantly pressuring the Lizzies, but Tamalli, always there for his team, made enough of a gap for the two remaning skinks to get away with the ball. With so much time left running on the clock, the Lizzies had to hope for a miracle, or that a quick TD would bring some more players back onto the pitch. But alas, the pitch, still muddy, betrayed the feet of brave ohu`, who fell flat, and letting the ball slip free. From here, it was a game of catch up, and not even Tamalli's valiant efforts, and a timely bout of stupidity from Mr. Bosch could stop the F'Orkz from scoring the winning TD in the dying moments...
