“The match started off looking good for Bodies Stink, but by the end their bodies were the ones littering the floor. Receiving the opening kickoff, they drove south in a cage while the celebrity starlet mummies held the middle. The Neocons, sensing they needed to even the playing field, having started the match down a player due to the dear passing of a teammate in their last match, fouled early and hard against Wight Brian Boneyard, sending him off the pitch to regenerate. Alas, their foul resulted in a zomboid ejection.

Not wanting to be out-muscled, Bodies Stink organized a massive group foul of Werewolf Scott Howard, sending him off badly hurt to miss the match. The drive resulted in a half-ending score, and the Neocons lined up to receive the second half kick.

In the second half, Bodies Stink were able to hold off the scoring of Neocons, but suffered tremendous injuries in the process. Cleaver McBeaver, the MVP of the match, suffered a sprained groin and will miss the next game. A murmur rose from the crowd, wondering how exactly a zombie sprains his groin. Far more devastating, the leading (and only) scorer for the team, Ghoul Pack Rat, suffered an unlife ending hit to the face, and was duly buried on the field.

After the match, Pack Rat rose from the dead to play as a zombie for the Neocons, that turncoat. The first league win for Bodies Stink, but was the juice worth the squeeze?

In the post-game locker room, Michael Jackson cried out in agony over the death of Pack Rat, and turned into a frenzied berserker. Lord help the next player to cross his path.”
