“Da Waaghriors proved to be a mean green whirling machine of Orcish mayhem, as expected. Gretchinflinger occupied the centre of the pitch for them, but for most of the first half just stood where he was wondering where he was, why he was, and all of lifes imponderables. Meanwhile Phantasie Fumbbl, kept the ball well but failed to make any progress through the massed ranks of green skins.
The second half nearly saw GretchinFlinger launch one of his tiny mates along with the ball, but again at the last moment had more pressing thoughts of existence to deal with. Da Waaghriors finally decided after Phantasie Fumbbl had exhausted all the rerolls in the known universe tring to GFI to get at the sneekygit (Sneekygit) with the ball that running with cover was the best idea. A risky move that left a Phantasie Fumbbl blitzer with a possible blitz on him near the end zone, came to nothing when the blitzer failed his GFI roll....
Da Waaghriors played a delaying tactic, leaving them to score in turn 7. The same turn that Philemon Swift, quite possibly the key player for PF did himself a mischief dodging into an empty square and picked up a niggling injury. All in all a great game. Light on the carnage and TDs but still a good tactical battle.”
