“Buccaneers get taken down 1-0 and suffer the bitter diappointment of a close loss in a major

Buccaneers just could not manage to put tohether a string to get the ball across the endline.

It seemed like the Bucs were fighting a uphill climb all game long as they started slow and just could not get anything going. There was no consitancy and it was very frustrating.

The game came down to two sequences for the Bucs.

On 1/4 the Bucs needed to get the ball in the endzone. The sequence was a 2+ 3+ 2+...Two dodges with dodge and a pick up in a TZ with team reroll. The result...failed opening dodge, rerolled...failed pickup, rerolled and dodged out for a 1. BAM!! so much for the score.

On 2/8 Needed to put together a string to get the tie. Hand off for 3+ pass for 3+ catch for 2+ with team reroll and a pass reroll...Flach covers my Thrower so I needed to clear that out to keep the odds....I had a saftey valve option if neccesary.

Blitz to clear the thrower...double skull...reroll...double block..So failed to push the rat back and blew the rerolll....so I went to the safety valve option which was a 3+ 2+ 3+ 2+.....Hand off the ball to start the push...roll:1....end of game.

Now Flach also had some bad sequences of their own that kept this thing close. But that is normal in Majors...In the end the Bucs just could not get it done.

I really thought if we could of taken this to OT we had a shot at winning this thing. I would have had 8 turns to pound that OTS and secure the victory. BUt alas it was not to be.”
