Another fierce AFC matchup, this time between the My Hammy Dorf Grins and the Baltimore Necros. It was destined to be brutal fight with the teams having some of the slowest player in the league.

Baltimore won the toss and elected to kick, an obviously good strategy as the dorfs are notoriously bad with the ball. A short kick left the ball close to midfield for the dorfs to start. And the dorfs started poorly. In their 1st 2 turns they used up some of their rerolls and proceded to see double skulls a few times, but their solid starting position and their absolute lack of grey matter to damage kept the Dorf Grins on the pitch. The Dorf Grins finally managed to get one of the Necros lumbering Flesh Golems on the ground just long enough for Phoul Warfield to employ his trademark late hit that looks like it is going to leave Lorenzo Kneel with a dodgy knee for the rest of his career. The rest of the 1st half was what everyone expected. Bashing and pushing and bodies falling and gettting up again only to be bashed again. Bone splinters and blood flew everywhere but only some of the Necros left the field for some recover time on the sidelines, but nothing that would affect them even for the 2nd half. The Dorfs made a break for it in the late stages of the 1st half but were run down and the ball taken. The Necros were just too far in their own half to be able to make a drive with it and the halftime whistle blew.

Baltimore was recieving the ball to start the 2nd half and they expected results out of their star players. Baltimore tried to punish the front Defensive line of the Dorfs but got tied down in the Dorfs game. A bash fest ensued between the better part of the Dorf and Necro teams. When the dust cleared by the end of the 3rd quarter the Dorfs stood tall on the pitch with just Bub Smasherson sent of for a short hospital stay (expected back for next week, says insider sources), however the Necros had suffered some brutal punishment. With just 4 bodies on the pitch and 3 on the undertakers slab (insiders expect his usual miracles but dont expect to see these players back to full potential, we should expect them to miss this upcoming week and may miss games in the future most likely at random). But the Necros had sprung Joe Flack-O who was just steps from the goal line and the go ahead TD. The Dorfs however had other plans, and quickly punished Joe and the remaining Necros. The Dorfs knocked the ball free and brought the Necros down to 3 players on the pitch. With the overwhelming numbers the Dorfs were able to carry the ball down the pitch and walk the ball in for the winning score as the final whistle blew, which is good for them as they were running just about full speed (it just looked like they were walking)
