“The flings filed out for another game of ‘bowl’. Recent performances had been encouraging and they were hoping to make it three for three in their most recent game, being against a gnome team called ‘Cannibals Cannibals’.

The portents were good as both trees decided to show up for the start. With a smile and a wink the games began.

Little can be said of the game itself other than it was a rout. All the flings rolled works and most of the gnomes didn’t. Fortunately for the gnomes, with the game in control, the flings didn’t resort to underhand tactics, just making sure of maximum SPP’s.

A good opponent who, on another day, could have taken the flings all the way, maybe even beaten them.
