#5 Oswald – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#5 Oswald – Smashed Knee (NI)
#7 Oberon – Dead (RIP)
One of the best matches I have had on here for ages.

Coach Krytie needed a Vamp team to help fill the grid and the Boots obliged. The Vamps recieved in the first half and started by knocking Ugo Souleater to the floor, before dirty player Oberon headed in the deliver a size 10 to the Wight's head. The undead monstrosity had been booted so hard he failed to regenerate and was carried from the field in various bits. But this left Oberon next to the giant mummy Titan Karma, who duly smashed the thrall's head into tiny little pieces. The fans knew what was coming next, and they cheered wildly as Oberon got too his feet and shambled off to the dugout to join his new team.

The Vampire team soon got their revenge on the mummy, with Zim delivering another high quality foul from which Titan Karma could not recover. They also put the ghoul Banshee McPhee in the injury box before running in for the score at the end of the half, but the Boots fans only wanted one man dead, and this would set the scene for the second half.

It began at 11 vs 7 players in favour of the Boots, but things would soon change. Oberon proved to be a menace to his old team, ko'ing Samuel on the kick-off with a well placed foul. Dirty player Igor tried to take the undead thrall out next turn but only suceeded in causing a stun, whilst managing to get sent off himself by an unusually vigilant ref. It was soon 7 vs 7, then 6 vs 6 after Sneaky Pete got knocked out by Celestine Von Drack, who then herself had to nip off for a bite after the strenuous efforts of knocking the blodging ghoul over. However, the Vamps finally managed to gain possession and made off upfield with the ball, but were too far way from the endzone to manage another score.

After his sterling contribtion to both teams, Oberon was awarded the post-match Mvp. Coach Smyth was unavailable for interview regarding his former player's new career, but was said to be rather unhappy that the thrall "never showed that much commitment" for the Boots.

Props to coach Krytie for an awesomely brutal match. Good luck in your quest to fill the grid, and make sure no-one else kills Oberon - that sucka is ours!
