“The day dawned bright and clear. The grumbling dwarves took the field with minor misgivings. There was more ale in the locker rooms, but they had to go beat on women. Such was their distaste for the fairer sex.

Luck was with them though, getting the kick off. They quickly formed a cage and started to move the ball. Turn 2, they sent Innig off the field in a stretcher, first in a line of mobile medical units. Then, the girls showed their metal. In a daring raid, Dun Bolg shot through the dwarven defense and knocked the ball loose from Thorin Doubledarn's pudgy hands.

The dwarves of Nuffleheim were undaunted however, as they crushed Dun Bolg into the pitch and sent her away to recover. The ensuing half was a struggle of block vs block, dodging women, and grunting dwarves. Thinkis Knottus, true to his name, didn't ponder his slamming Druim Ligen into the pitch for a BH. Finally, Grinkus Ironlips strolled into the EZ on turn 7. The dwarves were cocky.

The kickoff to the ladies was textbook dwarf kicking. Give the ball to a team member because the stunty guys can't kick. The Nuffleheim Noseminers watched in stunned horror as the ladies were suddenly three steps from scoring. Evgus Forkbeard rushed off and delivered a staggering SKULL for a blitz and ate dirt, allowing the tying score.

After the half, ale, and a stern talking to, the dwarves took to the field against a depleted amazon team. By turn four, the ladies has skipped, dodged, and scampered their way to yet another score. the dwarves were no longer cocky. The coach saw the way to victory though.

The last kickoff saw a blitz by the dwarves that knocked over half the remaining ladies and the fastest little dwarf you've ever seen bolted down the sideline. The fierce women of Las Tipicas gave chase, with a few nasty blocks thrown in, but the coach's plan was flawless. Even with dodging and speed, its very hard to overcome a 11-6 defecit in numbers. Fraffus Shortstride galloped into the EZ for the tie and the dwarves considered themselves very lucky. It is highly unlikely they will underestmate ladies again.”
