Down nearly 20% in luck for about the first 12 turns of the game, I was getting beaten up (not too unusual for skaven) and stumbling all over the place. London is actually missing this next game due to a self-inflicted (snakes) dodge roll. The game also started on a perfect defense.

Then, after going up 2-1, the lizards kicked to me and there was a pitch invasion. It took out NINE lizards and ZERO rats. I made a couple quick blocks and scored ASAP. I played to win.

jinhx's drive, and he mauls my team immediately. gets a couple KOs and walls my team off on one half of the pitch (well, what was left anyway). I ran a lino and gutter upfield and blitzed the ball with my Strip Ball gutter, who not only got is loose, but grabbed it and dodged out of a TZ. jinhx didn't blitz the ball, but rather blitzed a path clear to surround my gutter with 5 players. He also tied up any immediate help in the area. My choices were a 6-only dodge (krox and DT in the mix, technically it was a 7 I needed) or a -3db blitz to get a 3+ 2+ dodge away, and not be able to throw the ball clear. I chose the lucky dodge and got it, then passed over the head of a skink and scored with the other gutter.

Rome made that pass, and deservedly won MVP.

Winnings were a little disappointing, seeing as now I have a gutter to replace, but overall I prefer the FF to a little extra money.”
