“Seems 10 norse players just couldnt cut it this time. But after a game like that, it doesnt really matter. The game was played in great spirits and both coaches were having a blast. One of the most fun games I've had recently :)
Too bad the replay is broken, since we had to reload the game a few times, since the proxy seemed to be having hickups (though no great plays involved there, atleast on my side).
The game started like a true bloodbowl game, and looked like we'd break the 30 fouls a game mark easily, but after a while the ref started interfiering. The Norse set up to receive and were making steady progress towards the EZ, but they forgot one crucial thing. It was gobbos we were playing against and not Orcs. With Orcs you'd expect them to come straight at you, but this time they out flanked us and got the ball free, to a gobbo who started sprinting towards the other end of the field. Luckily we caught up, and after an elf like passing game managed to score on T8.
Norse went in to the 2nd half 1-0 up (well, most of 'em anyway), and were waiting for overtime, to break that 30 fouls mark. Now the gobbos played like Orcs usually would, just ramming and forcing their way through defence to even the game to 1-1 with a few turns left.
Norse set up to receive with 5 players, go the ball and made a dash for it through the orc defence... We thought there was a slight chance, but then nature interfierced, our blodge catcher was hit y lightning? And it wasnt even raining. Some sort of weird meteronomical feature, an inversion they tell me! Something to do with pelicans and jet planes. Well, anyway after a few dodges, gfis and -2d blocks, it was starting to become crystal clear that the gobbos were gonna win this one :)
“Can only agree it was a blast! :D So much fun I actually laughed when one of my better bliters got niggled by a thrown rock last turn!
Looking forward to more games in the future!
Cheers”

Again, thanks for the game, it was fun.”
