Highlight for me was the last two turns of the first half. Two very different TDs. Kurt Warner desperately pretending to be an elf and then Tham'os with the one-turner.

Good game Fitz.

St. Louis 2-1 Atlatl

In a match between two highly touted brutal defenses, the Falchions and the Ramses went toe to toe tonight in a brutal confrontation. The Ramses won the cointoss and chose to recieve the ball. During their 1st actions of their drive they caused what appeared to be a fatal casualty, however when the lizard apothecary got out to the prone saurus, it was realized he had just fallen into a coma from trying to think of 2 things at once. The Ramses quickly turned over the ball and the Falchions skinks ran it back to the safety of their own endzone. With repeated boots falling over their saurus meatshileds the Falchions designated hitman decided to drop a clawed talon onto an newly prone mummy at midfield. He took off with the ball in hand and stomped on star Mummy Merlin Olsen inflicting a crushing blow that would hamper his movements for the rest of his career, but as he was carrying the ball and was the focus of attention the ref politely picked him up by the tail and punted him to his bench and told him not to return. The ball fell to the feet of a nearby saurus and sat there on the ground. To the dismay of the rest of the NFC teams, Merlin Olsen made a full regeneration in just minutes of being pulled to the safety of the sidelines. Kurt Warner showing true form picked up the fallen ball from beside the saurus talons and passed it to Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch as the 1st half was winding down. The Ramses were walking into the locker rooms when the ref reminded them they had to kick the ball back to the Falchions as there was still 5 seconds left on the gameclock. The Ramses kicked it and watched in shock as Tham'os Br'un was pushed and prodded forward from the line of scrimmage and was handed the ball. With lightning speed Tham'os had the game tied at the half.

St. Louis 1-1 Atlatl

The Falchions were recieving in the 2nd half and got the ball to new Saurus Ryn Stench'k The falchions had a brilliant drive going up the sideline fending off every attempt by the Ramses to punch into their offensive drive. With a mistimed block the whole Falchion offense came to a grinding halt. The ball was quickly exposed and the Ramses showed their brilliant ball handling skills quickly scooping up the ball and pulling it down the opposite sideline. With just 4 Saurs a Krox and 3 skinks to deal with it was fairly easy to keep the ball protected and screened free. Skink Eirik We'mes actually hurt himself trying to dodge into position to put a tacklezone on the ballcarrier. The Ramses were able to fully run out the clock this time and walked the ball in just as time was running out.
