“The Sledges got an Ironman handicap, which they gave to a BC. The Maniacs chose to receive and spent the first half marching the ball down the field, eventually scoring near the end of the half.
The second half saw the Sledges hammering the Maniacs players into the turf, seemingly breaking armor at will (luckily for the Maniacs, most armor breaks were stuns). Compounding the numerous stuns and KOs was some coaching mistakes by adambomb (unintentionally dodging with a non-SF CDB) and a slew of 1s and 2s on practically every roll that he made. (BC consecutively failed a GFI and the sure feet reroll, AG4 hobbo failed a dodge and the subsequent reroll, the AG4's pass attempt was fumbled and double skulls made at least 2 appearances on the Maniacs block dice).
It was clear who Nuffle was cheering for, and the Sledges managed to tie the game with 2 turns left. The Maniacs could still score and win if they could get the ball to a BC and run it into the end zone but that attempt was quickly stymied when a blocker rolled double skulls and ended any hopes for victory.”
