“Fumbbl B Minors MW I-3 Semi-Finals.

It was a mirror match between two High Elf teams with both wanting to represent their people in the Finals of the first ever B Minors. Light of Elune won the coin toss and received first. Their plan was to ground and pound their brethren into the turf. Deadliest Catch would not allow it to happen and they struck first with Ranfal badly hurting the strong High Elf, Lageniah Dreamcat. Without a second thought, Coach Duke Tyrion sent the Apothecary out to heal his player. DC kept the pressure up on the opposing front lines managing to break armor in key places. Soon Runhath Stonedragon, the LoE ball carrier attempted a long pass to the agile Catcher, Garnor Eagleclaw. Runhath was not a natural Thrower and when the pressure came at him, he fumbled the ball.

Prince Moranion who was playing for DC, grabbed the ball in front of the red faced Blitzer and tried to make a break for the end zone. Runhath was able to save his mistake and bring the Prince to the ground. The Prince was almost killed but the Wishmaster sent the medics out to heal him. He couldn't have the death of a Star Player on his conscience much less how hard it would be to recruit a star in the future if he let one die while playing for him. A long pass by Teclis to the Prince came up short and the first half surprisingly ended scoreless.

DC received in the second half and they decided to apply the same game plan that LoE did at the start. LoE played very aggressively going all in from the second turn and on. Unfortunately, this gave their opponents many shots at their players causing some to get sent off the field by way of knockout or casualty. The field was starting to clear up and Khilial ran the ball into LoE territory. Many of his teammates blocked the path to him and he then handed the ball off to Amaranth. Amaranth ran in the touchdown with one turn left in regulation to put his team up by one. Many fans thought the game was over but the Wishmaster knew that with a Catcher in the game the chances of a tying score was not bad.

The rookie LoE Catcher, Tyriell Moonfrost, was chain pushed across the line of scrimmage and into scoring range. He dodged past opponents and into the end zone for the tying touchdown to force Overtime!

DC won the coin toss in OT and received first. Once again they grinded out their opponents and calmly stalled by the end zone until the last turn of Overtime. Amaranth scored with only one turn left on the clock to put his team up on the score board one more time.

LoE was up to the task. Tyriell was chain pushed forwards again and again he scored right past the players set there to stop him. Coach Duke Tyrion shrugged his shoulders and stated, "I should have only played two turns." The game was tied one more time but it was going to go to the judges to see which team would move on. The judges came to a decision and had to give the win to DC as they controlled the game for the majority of time.

Well played match by LoE but congratulations go out to DC as they move on to the Finals to represent the High Elves and possibly earn the Wishmaster's first ever tournament win.
