“This was a tough loss for the Heroes, as it came on the very last play of the game. Even losing 2 players as badly hurt (including Dalvo II on the first play of the game), one broken leg (Dawn's now an assistant coach for conditioning), and 3 KO's who simply would NOT wake up, we still had things clogged up enough to prevent a score by the opposing team. (It certainly helped how the opponent couldn't dodge worth beans! :-) )

However, two attempts by Cuchillo to throw the ball away resulted in an interception by the lineman standing next to him and fumbling the ball to the ground right next to him, whereupon it was picked up by the enemy thrower, who connected on a short pass to a lone lineman who waltzed in for the score.

We shall continue to persevere, and assume the poor fan showing was due to the remote location of this game. Our fan-base is still strong, and will only get stronger as we rise to glory! Forward, Heroes!”
