“A game of two halves, with some really adverse luck in the first eight turns, and then an awesome last four turns.

It was a really tough start to the game, with six players stunned from the kick-off pitch invasion. It left no protection for the floored players when the Re-Animators' gathered for a gang foul. Player killed and saved by the apoth.

However, this left the field open for the dwarves to flood down the right wing. Attrition was costing the team tho', and I ended the drive to go 1-0 up with five players on the pitch. The situation looked even bleaker when I lost three players from the Sweltering Heat, fielding eight players against the necros' 11.

The two casualties against were perm injuries and are now retired players. With a super-high attrition rate for this team, it's been tough fielding a full team, and keeping players improving.

However, the blitzers are keeping the team together. Janizar Arclight was the star of the game tonight, with a TD-saving tackle (1-D) causing a KO and recovering the ball. After staying on the field (jammy rerolled 1-d block against on the sideline failed to push him into the crowd), orchestrated a four turn drive from three squares away from my TD zone to the opponents.

Lost the ball on a failed 2+ throw, and then a failed dumpoff. However, Janizar came to the rescue again, knocking over a player, before dodging, picking up in a TZ, dodging, and then making two gfis (he's AG4 btw).

The game ended with a last-turn score to take the game.

Awesome end to a really tough game, and looks to avert any concern about relegation. Some luck in the final game could provide a shot at a playoff place.

Also noticed post-game that this was the 100th game for the Irn Bru Re-Animator. Massive gratz to Jock on such a phenomenal winning record...
