“Good first match for the spirits. They encountered Wietse's foul Skeletrons. The match started off badly with my first foul trading a line-elf for a knocked out Mummy. Some turns later we were in trouble after a snaked dodge by the dancer and some double skulls. I was saved by a double skull on Wietse's turn and managed to get my offensive touchdown in late in the first half.
Early in the second half things looked bleak for the dancers as the Khemerian offense got a lucky break when I kicked the ball right in between Two mummies. The cage was already half formed before we even started playing. Wietse quickly formed a full cage and started advancing. In turn 2 after recovering from the LOS damage (2KO's again) we were ready for action. One spirit tied up two skellies and Raven leapt into the cage for the blitz on the ballcarrier. Luckily for me he knocked the ball free was able to dodge out and get the ball. A rather lucky procedure for me...
The Khemri tried to get the ball back and succeeded in knocking it free and even picking it up (quite an accomplishment for the average skeleton). But to no avail... the woodies, already spread out all over the field ran whereever they wanted and passed the ball for the final stall at Skeletron's endzone.
Good match and surprising that my team survived...
PS Always feels good to target a player of your real-life friend and pop his eyes out..... *poor Manubrium*”
