“Some games you're the dog, some days you're the hydrant, and in this match the Champs of Lothlorien were most definitely hydrants for the Tartful Dodgers' dogs (bitches at that!) to piss on.

Things didn't start well in the first half with the Amazon blitzer Bakewell KO'ing 2 players and SI-mng another player. Despite having the advantage in the armor category it did not matter as the elf's armor broke time and time again while the Amazon's stayed intact.

But the real coup de grace came near the midway mark when the Champs managed to recover the ball deep in their own end zone. The ball carrier tried a long bomb to clear the zone but instead threw an interception that was ran in for a TD.

Between kicks the KOd players rolled 3 1s and then the Tarts got a blitz on the ensuing kick off, which they used to score again. The teams yet again lined up for the kick off and wouldn't you know it...blitz again to end the half.

Well you'd think things might start to even out after that but no...my opponent got their 3rd blitz of the game on the opening kick off of the 2nd half!!! We managed to secure the ball and push into the Tarty one's end zone but just couldn't score.

For the entirety of the game my players were inundated with rolling 1s whenever they tried to do anything to do with moving, passing or handling the ball. In the 2nd half practically every turn for the Champs ended due to a rolled 1. There were several times where the rerolled 1 was also a 1. This pitiful rolling combined with the supreme luck of my opponent combined for a very frustrating and uneven match.

I offer my congrats to pompom for his win, he played well and it certainly wasn't his fault the dice were tilted in his favor. I would not balk at the idea of a rematch though for I feel things would be more interesting if the dice were even a little more even.”
