“Deadver 1-1 My Hammy

My Hammy traveled to the Mile Underground city of Deadver this week for a slugfest in the ground. Deadver recieved the ball to start the 1st half which went unrecorded for some reason, possible interfearance to do with the Bronkos facilities. The reanimated quickly took command and drove down the left side punishing the dwarven defense. A few of the Bronkos took a step off the pitch during the drive but quickly recovered as the Jabar 'The Hutt' Gaffney was coerced by the Dorf Grin defense into scoring relatively early in the half. Dorf Grin Mauler Moore recieved most of the punishement of the Bronkos drive and is expected to miss next weeks game recuperating...sources say 'he's suffered no long term injuries that will affect his play once his recovery is complete.' The Dorfs quickly capitalized on their fortunes of having an offensive drive in the 1sth half by proceding to play their hard nosed offense. As Phoul Warfield took the ball in for the match tieing TD at the end of the half My Hammy Guard/Tackle Al Jinxins laid a brutal hit on the Bronkos 2 time MVP Shaven Moses. Normally funeral services would be held for fallen ballplayers but as Shaven has already died and risen before for the Bronkos we may see him pull a Brett and un-retire again.

Deadver 1-1 My Hammy at the half

My Hammy had the ball again and was looking to deal out the pain to the Bronkos. A brutal opening to the 2nd half had 5 Bronkos either using their regeneration skills or in the recovery box by the end of the 3rd quarter. Jabar made a bold move and knocked the ball free from Phoul Warfield as he drove over the midfield line at the start of the 4th quarter poping the ball free. Jes E. Pow-ell quickly retaliated and puished the Bronkos star Jabar 'The Hutt' Gaffney' with a viscious hit (many think it was punishment by the Dorf Grins for having scored on them). Jabar is expected to return in 2 weeks but doctors say he will likely never have his full speed again. Having tied up nearly all of the Bronkos defenders the Dorf Grins raced to put someone in position to score before the final whistle blew. In a last second effort My Hammy recovered the ball at midfield and tried a relatively simple looking handoff at the 25 yard line, which would have been walked in for the game winner. Hubie Grogg blamed the dropped ball on the slick ghoul blood covering it.
