My opponent inflicted 4 casualties in 5 turns, and I was started to getting a little bit worried by then. I managed to kill a Zombie, and it even stayed dead!!!
Unfortunately I lost my second Storm Vermin to a random block by a Zombie in the second half. Oh well, that's BB for you. My opponent really knew how to make perfect defenses, and I got it thrown at me twice. And I actually saw an example of how it's sometimes better to fail than succeed. After having run my two Gutter Runners by his perfect defense, I failed a handoff from one to another. Instead of receiving it, the ball went right behind the two GR near the sideline. Even better than a catch, I think! Fury proved his worth clawing the blodging Ghoul out of action all by himself, and by then it was easy running home the TD.
During the second perfect defense (now with 7 man on the field) I almost lost control of the ball, but then Justice truly shone, getting a mummy knocked down on a rerolled 3D block (he went down himself, but he took one for the team!). That's some fine blocking action!
An enjoyable game of BB with good winnings and fans for both of us. Only sour point was my best GR aging and dropping to 1Str! Oh well, he still has his uses as fast-running catcher and interceptor, so I guess I'll keep him until he gets hurt. ”
