#14 Fwyrd Gentlesoul – Broken Ribs (MNG)
The Pips' coach challenged a Necromantic team to a game which was expected to get bloody. Those wolves are always causing up trouble when they are not kept in check. Fairhand Silvertoe was feeling especially sure of himself today. And it sure showed on the field.

The Necromantic team started on offence and whacked the elven players away and moved their players forward. They made a slight error though as the ball carrier was left without enough protection. The elves managed to block away the nearby players and Whimper Proudfoot accompanied with Fairhand Silvertoe, charged against the lone wolf and blitzed him down. Whimper grabbed the ball in the process and started running for the goal.

The Necrononitiliticon managed to get a few players to block Fairhand, but he eventually left the opposition in their tracks and ran for the touchdown. 1-0 for the Pips.

The Necro team retaliated with great efficiency. They were able to succesfully cheat the elf team out of position and get a wight open with the ball. The elves tried to blitz him down, but the attempt failed in a very embarrassing failed GFI. 1-1.

The following elvish attack was killed in its tracks as the elves fumbled with the ball while trying to set up a cage for the thrower. A catcher handed of the ball to a thrower who lost the ball. The ball scattered into a very bad position and the wolves managed to pick it up. They didn't get to score, however, as they got greedy with blocking and failed enough blocks to cause a turnover. 1-1 was the score at half time.

The second half begun with a brilliant and flawless drive by the Pips. The catchers ran far, the linemen protected the throwers, and the blitzers stopped the opposition at blocking down the catchers. Prettyfinger Noblechin threw the ball successfully to Fairhand Silvertoe, who scored his second touchdown easily afterwards.

The Necros still had a good chance at scoring and ending the game in a draw. However, their attack was halted in a very unlucky block by a Flesh Golem. This freed the elven players to blitz down the ball carrier who was left defenseless. They tried desperately to move the ball away, but the Pips grabbed the ball and moved it to the endzone. Fairhand Silvertoe scored his third touchdown. 3-1 for the Pips.

The Necros got of one last attack and were successfull. The elves tried to block their advancement, but all attempts failed. Lupino de Wulf scored the final touchdown of the game during the last seconds of the match.

The Pips were quite pleased with their victory against a very dangerous foe.
