“Varkaus Steelers was left with a gap in their roster after the last tossle with the Chaos team. They took on the Skaven Cowboys in an attempt to get some sort of recovery.

This time Steelers got to attack first, but things didn't go their way. They fumbled with the ball and were unable to open up the field. Supported by their superiour numbers, the Cowboys were able to outmaneuver the humans and came very near to scoring as a Gutter Runner picked up the ball after the ball carrier had been brought down.

Luckily the Steelers defense prevailed and were able to keep the ball down long enough to run out the clock. Not the most noble tactic, but there really weren't a lot of choices at the time. 0-0 was the half time score.

The second half was almost over as it actually got going. The game was held up for 5 turns due to a riot. This worked better to the Skaven interests as they were able to mount a quick attack. But despite being handicapped, Steelers managed to prevent the Skaven team from scoring. This was made possible by the Cowboys' thrower who wasn't able to throw the ball to its target. Steelers swarmed the ball and the game was over.

Steelers was happy with the draw, because they were up against superiour odds. Thanks to my opponent for a fun game.”
