“It's an orc-on-orc greenskins-only match, and to make things really interesting Z-Ork1 have hired Varag. We have the higher rated team, but give up a handicap of buzzing, so between that and the star things should be pretty even.
We kick off and roll up a perfect defence to foil their first turn - and in fact the sudden change must have confused the poor greenskins as a black orc blitzes and then attempts to step backwards after the block.. not noticing he'll need to dodge.. turnover!
This means we can charge in after the ball before they have a chance to cover it. They try and blitz back defensively with their troll.. but he needs two GFIs to reach and... turnover! We steal the ball and make it 1-0 on turn 2! Varag has not even been activated yet!!
Our fans celebrate with a well-hurled rock that KOs one of their black orcs, but they respond with a KO block from varag and a gang foul with their DP gobbo: -AV on a black orc (apo saves)! Blizgug the black orc stands right back up and decks the little stunty for a MNG- burning up their apo to keep him on the pitch. Everything's permanent now folks!
We defend as best we can but can't stop Z-Ork1's blitz through the center, and after a turn of splendid dodges they are through and make it 1-1 by turn 6.
We receive the kick and get stuck in with our first 'ground blitz' of the game which sees our DP sent off and varag ghoul-chewer MNG'd! The following turn we manage to BH a black orc and run a lone lineorc into range of the endzone. They need to dodge to blitz him and are out of rerolls... and fail! We're able to get him the ball and make it 2-1 just as the half time whistle goes.
With a KO'd black orc failing to return on their side it means we've 11 vs just 9 - but they've rolled up a blitz! Luckily they don't have the numbers to punch through and we're able to secure the ball and start the slow push downfield. The Z-Orcs try their best (managing a 2d blitz to bounce the ball free for a turn) but they are running out of rerolls, and players, and we eventually score to make it 3-1 on our 7th turn.
They can set up just 5 vs 10 of us for the final couple of turns - and we roll up a blitz ... catching our own kick! Unfortunately with only one turn left after that we can't get an orc in range of the endzone and the game ends.
