“Is it possible to feel bad for having 75% plus luck the entire match? I don't know because i didn't. I have to hand it to Thunderhammer, he definately didn't roll over and take it like alot of coaches would.
Thanks for an excellent match, and i'm looking foward to our rematch.”
I blew just about every 3+ with reroll during the entire first half, with my opponent making his no sweat. My KO box was crowded with people refusing to return, and my poor Rats got maimed off the field. Got one niggled, and my Rat badly hurt because of failed dodging. Even blew a couple of 2+ w/ reroll as well, and when I had the opportunities in the second half, I couldn't use them because of my lack of men (the thrower got maimed on the first block in one of the first turns of course). 3+ throws (with rerolls) were impossible to make, unlike opponents 3+ pickups and 3+ throws, and 3+ catches :(
But I refused to roll over (apart from one drive, where I didn't want my men to commit suicide), and I had some truly exiing moments during the second half. Both my TD's were one-turners, even though I didn't have my one-turner for the first one.
You know it's insane, when your game plan depends on a quicksnap, but I got one. My one Stormvermin dodged past the Ogre and blitzed a lino, who got pushed into my Gutter Runner, who got pushed one step closer to the endzone.
After that a Lino raced for the ball, and handoffed it to the Gutter, who ran home a TD! That play alone was worth the entire match, even though I got two nigglers! My second one-turner was just a traditional one.
My opponent played well and took good advantage of the chances he got. I'll definately play him again some other time.”
