“Great first game against a competent and lucky opponent. We started off knowing we would get bashed and we were right. In the very first turn we already suffered a badly hurt. We still managed to get our offense going but were not able to stall because of the staunch dwarven defense. We had to defend for 5 turns against the dwarfish counter offensive and were doing really well although we lost another elf to a serious injury.
At a crucial moment right before I could blitz the ball carrier I still had to get some tackle zones away and Oak let me down by failing on of his only 3 blocks this match. He went down and that + the turnover opened the gates for a dwarven equaliser in turn 8.

Second half we started outnumbered already and right in the very first turn my tree took root and didn;t do a damn thing in the whole of the second half. He just stood their watching as nearly every single block my opponent did sent another elf to the KO box. Since he only got to blitz one per turn my numbers went down by 1 per turn.

The last 2 turns I had to defend with 2 than 1 player but succeeded in blitzing the ball free and the clumsy dwarves failed to cash in the winning TD with 10-1 on the field (the tree and a stunned elf not included)...
