“Damn good game,
First time playing with Amas (actually I'm used to play strength teams) and I must say they surprised me. Some unlucky rolls but nevertheless a beautiful game. In the first half I took the lead around the 5th turn but a verry nice touchdown-run from Tamper in turn 8 (1st half) made us start the 2nd half 1-1. Everything was still possible. No casualties on either side. Then, when we started talking about them (casualties), they somehow started comming in the KO, BH, SI box and unfortunatly Adamski ended in the box wich has the R.I.P. sign on it. A blitz, some 1's and some 'on-the-edge-of-my-chair-play's' from Tamper made him the victor of this game. Thx again Tamper. Looking forward to the rematch :)
Notes to self:
- Use the dodge to get out of harms way ( Amas are not like Orcs who love to get IN harms way or rather like to be 'the harm' ).
- Buy a 4th Blitzer ASAP, because they (almost) never go down.
- Play Tamper more often because he's a damn cool coach imho. ”
“Good game :)
My first time playing Necro's, and i was pleasantly surprised at them. Used my superior speed over the amazons to my advantage, but it was pretty close all the way in the first half. Scored a decent TD early in the second then got a Blitz on KOff which swung the game my way. I was able to put presure on the zons thrower, get TZ's on the ball and after a brief scramble Fetch swooped on the loose ball and ran it in for the clinching 3rd. 'zons luck hit rock bottom as they failed a block on the next drive, whic to'd it to me, and the ghouls and werewolf swooped on the thrower again to score the fourth. Score is a bit distorted, Baldrox didnt deserve to lose by three, he had some bad luck, noticeably dodging and his thrower twice fumbling throws. I took some risks that paid off and it could really have gone either way.
Respect to Baldrox, the guy is a shining example to all coaches beacause despite the poor luck at times he kept smiling (probably thru gritted teeth ;) ). Plays the game the way it should be played. Rematch would be a pleasure.”
