“Nuffle truly cant stand my guts.
I don't think I will ever be able to keep my fanfactor above 8, despite performing really well in most matches. My armor breaks like paper, and all my Gutter Runners age.
Oh well, the game started out with alot of fumbles. 2 TD's were determined by the opponent blowing 2+ rolls and stuff like that. During the second half my opponent tried to stall, and he succeded in knocking out 3 of my players. 8-11 was hard odds against a staller, so I decided after some quick attempts at the ball to try a different strategy. I started to gang up on the rst of his players and managed to get his Str 4 Storm Vermin removed. No obvious chances for blitzing the ball arrived, so I concentrated on saving my last reroll for the one-turner equalizer instead of on some insane dice rolls, which would have little-to no chance of succes of getting the ball away, even if I managed to break the cage. Better to go for a draw, keep my team intact and get a cas on the way.
During the last turn, I managed to blitz away one of the guards in his endzone, and was able to make that final TD without any problems at all. Apparently it was so tough a run for my GR, that he gained a niggling injury after learning Sure Feet. Oh well, that one-turner isn't essential for my play anyways, so I guess he'll stay until someone whacks him. ”
“The game was all about who could roll more ones. At least 3 double 1's happened in this game, and I counted 4 more 1's on GFI's and ball pickups with GR's on both sides. The game started with a touchdown bonanza, 2-2 scoring in the first half. We decided to take out the rat ogre on a foul and take control of the pace of the game in the 2nd half, and it payed off big time. We were able to cage and control the clock, even throwing a completion with our SV who needed it for a skill. That 1 turner did his thing in the last part of the game, though.
Thankfully, no aging this time.”
