Both teams were undefeated and I was quite sure my team would stop being undefeated after this match. It seemed like nuffle had the same plans for me when my first three rolls included 2 ones and at the start of turn three some lowly zombie managed to badly hurt my +ST blitzer off the field. Daberserker had already caged the ball safely in his half and my repeated attempts to pick at his cage didn't succeed in getting a shot at the ball.

It did however slow down the undead offensive drive. This meant that in the last turn he had to blitz away a player and make a dodge and 2 gfi's.
He managed the blitz and dodge but snaked a gfi. Without a reserve turn to try again that meant a 0-0 when I started my offense.

I started down the lower half and tried to blitz + foul a mummy but failed horribly. Daberserker defended well against my push and later on I had to retreat my players. He only send one single wight for the ball carrier but with some luck he managed to get the ball free and even pick it up. I spend some desperate turns trying to get back the ball from his blodge sure hands Wight and was really losing it when 3db blocks didn't work out. A turn later however I finally managed to pop the ball free and regain the ball.

Now I was in a hurry to score but had a reasonable chance in the end that worked out.
