“Khemri game 4. We have rebought our deceased mummy so are back to 4 at last, but we have just 10 players for the game with a skeleton MNG and another killed during our last outing. We're up against lawman's undead, with 11 players and only one skillup (a skelly with guard).
We kick in the blizzard and they push forward en masse, removing a couple of our skellies to the KO box with mummies. When they rush through the ball with a wight it looks dangerous until he trips on a GFI, and soon it's a free for all around the ball. Things start to go our way however, and eventually we get the upper hand, managing to steal it on turn 5. We run a blitz-ra over the half way line and get him the ball on turn 7 so he can sprint into range of the endzone, making it 1-0 just as the half time whistle blows!
We set up 9 vs 9 (just one mummy on their side) for the second half and watch their fans get the ref as they kick off! We push forwards but the undead are defending extremely well- managing to steal the ball by turn 4. We burn up our last reroll GFI blitzing over their wight, and manage to regain the ball and settle the play, keeping them at bay until we can score again on our last turn.
They go for some injuries on the last turn but can't do more than a KO.”
