“Khemri game 5 sees up against nin's higher-rated chaos. We get 2 handicaps: palmed coin and buzzing for our block-mummy. Early cas will be important as there are just 11 of them.
We receive, and start things off extremely poorly with a DP gang foul stun + sending off. Fortunately we have the ball safe and move it up one side, managing to badly hurt a beastman on the way. There's a bit of back and forth between the two teams until we break through on turn 5, badly hurting a chaos warrior and getting the upper hand across the pitch. We score on turn 8 after putting 3 of them in the KO box.
With 2 wake up attempts 2/3 of theirs wake up (and they KO a skelly before half time) so it's 10 vs 8 in our favour as we kick off.
They turtle forwards down one side of the pitch, but we're doing quite well at containing them with mummies, or so we thought - they have a turn of GFIs and dodges that all work and they are through with the ball and several players. All we can manage is to get a pile of players around their ball carrier to force an unmodified dodge WITH reroll.. but they still manage to fail it- lucky us! With only 6 enemies on the pitch at this point, we're able to scoop up the ball and move it out of the danger zone and punt it forwards to the halfway line and safety before the final whistle blows.
